Customisation according to the frame

In order to optimise the wearer’s field of vision in function of the chosen frame, Anateo™ PdM takes the following essential criteria into account:

The position of the pupil in the frame shape

The position of the pupil in the frame shape

  • Frame shape
  • A and B measurements
  • Bridge (D)
  • Half centration distances (1/2 RCD, 1/2 LCD)
  • Fitting heights (R Ht, L Ht)

Re-positioning and re-sizing vision fields

The information supplied by the eye-care specialist allows wearing conditions to be classified into different categories.

For each of these, a specific lens is calculated which adapts perfectly to the wearer’s individual characteristics – a feature exclusive to BBGR.

Re-positioning of near and intermediate vision

Variations in the progression length are achieved via a combination of two surfaces. The back surface offers an extra power variation which can modify the global progression by up to as much as 2mm without modifying or compressing the softness of the front surface.

Re-sizing fields of vision

Systematic optimisation of the horizontal fields of vision Calculation of the usable distance between the position of the pupil and the edge of the lens and aspherisation in this area to push aberrations beyond the limits of the frame.
