Extending the performance to a wide choice of frames

With the PdM ( Personal data Management ) option, Anateo™ takes customisation further. Anateo™ PdM extends the lenses’ performance to a wide choice of frames and optimises the wearer’s field of vision by taking the selected frames’ characteristics into account.

Freedom of frame choice

Progressive lens wearers want to have the same choice of frame as for a single vision lens. This can impact on the optical performance of the progressive lens, notably:

• for small frames in near vision
• for large frames when the peripheral zones have not been edged away
• for rimless frames which often have a very shallow pantoscopic angle
• for frames where the back vertex distance is not standard.

Qualities and benefits maintained

Standard progressive lens performance deteriorates when they are used under wearing conditions that do not comply with the standard values for which they have been optimised.
