The Concept

Anateo™, the first lens that adapts to the anatomy of the eye

For the first time, a progressive lens has been developed that takes all aspects of ocular anatomy into account : size, shape and the position of its centre of rotation. Using BBGR’s exclusive biometric technology, all presbyopes, whatever their correction, will be able to discover a whole new, wider and more comfortable visual space. Proved by tests – and confirmed by wearers.

Anateo™, a new approach

Vision is made possible via the projection of an image onto the retina. The revolutionary approach adopted by Anateo™ is to consider the image projected onto the retina to create a progressive surface adapted to each eye shape.

Anateo™, a crucial innovation

The length of the eye varies up to 30% between the long eye (myope) and the short eye (hyperope). Today’s conventional progressive lenses only take eye length into account when calculating lens power at the point for distance vision.

BBGR goes further and develops, for the first time, a lens which includes all aspects of ocular anatomy : the eye’s length, its retinal curve, more or less flat, and the position of its centre of rotation, more or less distant from the lens.
